2-0 Final

Well done to Inter. Better team wins. Two well taken goals by the man of the match Milito

Bayern never gave up, but couldn't break down the Inter defense. Who can?

Going to say it: Excellent game, Howard Webb. Critics will say, "he didn't have anything to do," but they would be quick to criticize if he had. Part of keeping a game under control is not having anything major to do. He keeps up with play really well and let's play flow very well.

Must be a difference in the pace of the game in England/Europe - perhaps

The story of the special one continues, quality win for Inter and being the first italian club to win the treble is something special and something Inter fans will never forget.

Whatever you say about the style of football, Inter deserved to win this year. They beat the teams that won the league titles in England, Spain and Germany.

So on to Madrid for the special one. I wonder how many chances they will give him to win the CL with his third club.

I'm glad that an Italian team won it. Pity it had to be Inter.

Well there's a chance that Milan might need that 4th spot to be UCL next year you can thank Inter for earning it for Serie A then

Default Inter to lose title?

I just heard something really crazy: Inter may lose all points in Serie A and be relegated, and if so, Inter will also lose the CL trophy. Something about using two illegal players, including Milito...... I'm sure this story will get lots of exposure come the next few days. Maybe it is all rubbish?

Genoa's president Enrico Preziosi is serving a five year ban from footballing activities for bribing match officials, that was what got Genoa (and Milito) relegated to C1 (3rd div) when they'd won Serie B.

The prick Preziosi is claiming that he instigated the moves for Milito and Motta, as a result the FIGC have called him and Moratti for questioning.

I don't think the Champs League trophy would be affected but they may lose the Serie A and Coppa Italia over it - however it's much more likely that the clubs will receive fines.
